Week of Feb 1

We have a busy and fun week ahead.  We have two science programs coming to us plus the global day of play. Check back later in the week for pictures. Information about Valentine's Day and the 100th day of school will be coming home Monday.

Monday-Green Day - PE - High Touch High Tech science program 

Tuesday - Blue Day (no media center on Tuesdays)

Wednesday- Purple Day - Global Day of Play

Thursday - Red day - PE - Soundwaters science program

Friday - orange day - raindate for Global Day of Play

Monday: Blue day - should be media center but we switched to tomorrow. So if you didn't send in library books, you have another chance. 

Tuesday: purple day - media center (just for this week, usually on blue)

Wednesday: red day - PE

Thursday: orange day

Friday: yellow day

We've earned 20 paws for following our school rules.  It's time to celebrate!  The class voted and decided to have a "bring a toy day".  We will be doing this on Wednesday.  I will be sending home a note with the details.

Indoor Recess

Winter finally decided to make an appearance.  I would've been very happy for it to stay away but we aren't letting it spoil our fun.  It's actually a great chance for students to have some down time in the classroom. I was amazed today with how nicely they broke up into groups to play some games that I hadn't even showed them yet.  The ones who knew how to play taught those who didn't. They took turns, worked out disputes (with a tiny bit of help) and practiced some math skills as they played.  Shhhhhh, don't tell them they were learning 😊

Back to school!
