Winter finally decided to make an appearance. I would've been very happy for it to stay away but we aren't letting it spoil our fun. It's actually a great chance for students to have some down time in the classroom. I was amazed today with how nicely they broke up into groups to play some games that I hadn't even showed them yet. The ones who knew how to play taught those who didn't. They took turns, worked out disputes (with a tiny bit of help) and practiced some math skills as they played. Shhhhhh, don't tell them they were learning 😊
